Breeding Seal,
Blue, Chocolate & Lilac points
My
love of cats began as a small child with our moggie "Smokey" who
endured amongst many other things me practising my hair cutting
technics on him, dressing him up in my dolls clothes & having to
listen to my childhood woes, when I was in trouble with my parents,
he was the perfect companion & confidant! When he died at 17 yrs old
we were all devastated at losing a family member.
In my younger years my work entailed travelling overseas so I was
unable to have my much longed for cat. As soon as I became
stationary for awhile, I did volunteer work for Sippy Creek Animal
Refuge on the Sunshine Coast & then with the SPCA Whangerai in New
Zealand. I also fostered, hence my home was always graced with poor
abandoned little kittens & Mums. It was very rewarding getting them
to trust human beings again after some of the sorry situations they
had suffered and to hear from the happy owners that had given them a
home but unfortunately so many of these cats & kittens could not
find homes & therefore had to be euthanased. It was and remains a
heartbreaking situation. The mistreatment of these animals made me
perpetually both saddened and angry. After several years I felt I
needed to spend time around animals that I knew would be loved and
cared for and wanted by their owners "for life".
I had kept a refuge kitten, (that had a bad start to life) he seemed
to have an inbred lovely temperament, the refuge said that he was a
Birman cross, so intrigued I went to my first cat show to have a
look at and find out about
Birman cats.

I immediately fell in love with these stunning cats with their
adorable temperaments, everything about them impressed me, and so in
1998 I brought home my first Queen Mapuzzee Mystique "Misty" a show
quality seal point who was everything & more I had hoped for. A few
years later Bonniebrae Esporanza "Sasha" joined us a sweetheart Blue
girl who quickly became a Grand Champion. I kept from her
"Mari-Bella's Magic" another very nice Blue girl. Last year upon
moving to acreage & having a couple of Queens I decided to get a
stud "My Blu Beau" a beautiful Blue Point from Marie at Nicsha
Birmans, Beau did very well on the show bench as a kitten with
several Best Birman kitten awards & is Champion already at a young
age. I am hoping with my lovely girls he will produce some really
nice show kittens.
As I only have one litter at a time the babies are raised in the
house with us and become part of our family. Being a stay home Mum I
am around to spend quality time with the kittens giving them lots of
love & affection. They go to their new homes healthy, and happy,
Vaccinated, wormed, micro-chipped, de-sexed and well socialised
(also used to young children), along with familiar food and litter
and information booklet, I am happy for you to call me as often as
you want for any help/advice required.
I am situated half way between Brisbane & the Gold Coast so if you
can visit here, come and have a look at the parents and babies, if I
don't have the perfect cat for you I will endeavour to find him/her
for you amongst other
reputable breeders. If unable to visit us here I can send photo's
and arrange transportation.
